The directors of the company have always emphasized the importance of small company innovation and specialise in animating, recruiting and coaching small companies in innovation management systems especially through the unique Sword SME Programme. This programme has operated nationwide and produced excellent results for participating companies and an increased profile for the concept of innovation

Excalibur is part owned by the Barnsley Business and Innovation Centre Ltd –one of the largest innovation centres in Europe- and as such is used to working with larger organizations to achieve real innovation results. It has also partnered numerous local authorities and universities in delivering live innovation programmes and animating the local small business community.
